Hey everyone, welcome to Baby Logic! I’m super excited to be launching this site with you. I wanted to share a bit about me, my passions, my goals but also my mistakes.
Hi! I’m Rachel! I’ve been married for just over 10 years now and my hubby and I have 3 crazy little boys. My oldest is almost 8 (going on 13), my middle son is 6 (going on 2) and my littlest man just turned 3 (no clue yet what direction this wildcard is headed!). I am a true #boymom and even with all the chaos, I wouldn’t change it for the world! My life is insane at times, I often feel like a glorified chauffeur and I can’t keep my fridge stocked to save my life. I definitely don’t have it all figured out, but I’ve learned a thing or two along the way and want to share those things with you. Because honestly, it truly takes a village.
In addition to being a mom and wife, I am a pediatric and prenatal chiropractor. I love that I get to love up on mamas and babies at the clinic and help make their days (or nights) better.
As a chiropractor, I’ve dealt with and treated a lot of injuries caused by auto accidents. This and the fact that I’m a mom, I want my child to be as safe as possible in the vehicle. So, a few years ago, I became certified as a child passenger safety technician. Basically, it means that I help parents, providers, even grandparents, figure out their car seat and make sure it’s installed properly in their vehicle.
When I said I was passionate about babies and mamas…I wasn’t kidding! My hubby is a serial entrepreneur and is always on the look out for a new business venture. We like having our hands in different pots! So when I saw that a local baby store was for sale back in 2015, I sent him the listing and was like “hey, we should buy this. I love babies and moms, you love business”. One week later, we were signing the documents to our very own baby store!
I’ve learned SO much during the past several years, between my professional chiropractic career, being a mom and owning a baby store. I don’t claim to know everything but I’ve gained some experience and discovered some tips and tricks that in hindsight, I wish I had known sooner. My life isn’t perfect, honestly, it’s far from it. But I do the best I can, learn from my mistakes and encourage others to do the same. I have surrounded myself with incredible people that support me, love me and pick me up when I need it.
Parenting is outrageous, it’s crazy, it’s chaotic, it’s hard, it’s challenging and it can be overwhelming. BUT,…it’s also the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done in my entire life.
I promise to be real and honest and feel honored to be able to share my expertise with you to make your parenting adventure a little easier and a ton more enjoyable! Until next time…..
