Pregnancy Blog Week 20 – Banana Pancakes

“THE SHHH IS BANANAS.. B A N A N A S! THE SHHH IS BANANAS, B A N A N A S!” As once said by one of the best and brightest in the field, Miss Gwen Stefani herself. I can see it now: you’re pulling out of the high school parking lot with your windows down in your beat up Suby blasting this song as you leave high school and head to work at the local grocery. 10+ years later you’re singing it because your unborn baby is the size of a banana this week.

Bananas really are great. Fun to say, yummy to eat. One of the first words your kid will say. Unless your baby’s first word is something like methionylglutaminylarginyltyrosylglutamyl…serine, which is the longest word ever published according to Wikipedia. In which case, film it and post it to Youtube and become a billionaire.

My point is, your baby is growing and it is sooooo fun and exciting! They are eating several ounces of amniotic fluid per day which is significantly more than before, and you are probably eating your plate, second helpings, and whatever is left on your husband’s plate, as well. This is also significantly more than you have ever eaten and it is all good, my friend. It is all good. Nourish yourself and that little leach inside your belly. Can you believe you made it halfway?? (Are you thinking, only halfway??? I still have what I have already done left to go?!) Haha, yes. But that is good…because you need time to prepare! So…

What is baby up to? 10.2 ounces and 6.5 inches long of pure adorableness.

Tip of the week: Do some research of furniture and what you want your nursery to look like 🙂

Product of the week is a bit of a splurger, but a necessity: CLICK HERE to view the product of the week. Grab yourself a collection or set this week.  This stuff can sometimes take 4-6 weeks to get to you, so it is worth picking it out, estimating a deadline, and ordering it before it is too late. Nesting was a huge part of my pregnancy and this was something that I wanted/needed to have ready before baby got here. I have this set (CLICK HERE) and still get compliments on it. It’s timeless yet modern.
