Pregnancy Blog Week 25 – Beautiful Hair…For Now

I whip my hair back and forth, I whip my hair back and forth…You noticing the new lustrous locks this pregnancy is bringing you? I remember walking out of the grocery store one time flicking my hair with my hand (because when you’re pregnant you do what makes you feel good…) and got whistled at.

I turned back around and ran *shuffled* to my car, which hopefully gave them a laugh. I can hardly run not preggers. Anyway, the hair. It is looking good right now. The exciting part is that your baby is growing hair now, too! The not so exciting part is that after birth, your baby will probably pull it out. Cool.

That is the other new noticeable change this week. Not quite getting around like you used to! As far as exercise goes, make sure whatever you like to do is okay’d with your doc. Be sure to drink plenty of water and give yourself a great warm up and cool down.

Or screw working out altogether and go to DQ for a Blizzard. Which is exactly what I am going to do right now. Just kidding.

Baby is up to? RUTABAGA status. I have never actually seen a rutabaga, but it is fun to say and repeat. So, like 13.5 inches and 1.5 pounds. Which is substantial but still kinda teeny tiny 🙂

Tip of the week: Pay attention to your spouse. From here on out, do something intentional together, whether it is a date, writing a quirky poem on your mirror with lipstick. You are going through changes, and he is TRYING to be a good sport. He may not be awesome at it all the time, but cut him some slack because this is all new to him too. Communication is key 🙂
