Pregnancy Blog Week 38 – Your Ukulele!
Spaghetti squash, a Pomeranian, a ukulele, and a half baking sheet of cookies…What do these random things have in common? They’ve all been compared to the size of your baby at 38 weeks! Which makes me laugh, because at this point if you really want to know what your baby looks like, look at a newborn baby!
Now let’s talk more realistically. Donuts, spaghetti, cheeseburgers, fries, and shakes. You know what these things have in common. You should go out and eat them. I know I have said it before, but I will say it again. Use these last couple weeks to enjoy being alone and eating whatever you want with no agenda. And thank me later.
If this is your first child, there are a lot of unknowns going on in your head. Wondering what labor is like (if you haven’t already had mild contractions or Braxton-Hicks), wondering about labor and delivery, wondering about what your nurses and doctors will be like, wondering what your hubby will be like while you’re in labor, wondering whether or not he’ll look down there even though you asked him not to… I will comfort you with this thought: any woman that I have talked to that has had a baby, would do it again in a heartbeat.
Now, I am not saying everyone had an amazing experience…just all the women I know 🙂 Or maybe, just maybe, the thought of cuddling your baby makes you forget all the things you’re scared about right now, all the unknowns, and makes you more than ready for this experience!!
Product of the week: Depending on which season you are in, there are a few options to choose from. If you’re expecting a summer babe, CLICK HERE, or if you have a winter baby on the way, CLICK HERE to view the product of the week! I promise it will come in handy and also helps keep prying eyes and hands away from touching your new babe.
Tip of the week: Mentioned above, just enjoy life as it is and treat o’self.
What is peanut up to? Being a peanut! Looking like a baby, almost ready to be born 🙂
